Internship 1
After finishing my third semester, I had an internship which I did in The St. Regis Langkawi. It is a most luxurious resort in Langkawi which is located in Kuah, Langkawi. First of all, I worked there for 6 days in a week with 1 day off for the whole 10 weeks (8th January - 16th March 2018). In that resort, I joined the Recreation and Food&Beverage team. My job on first department which is in Recreation was taking care of towels counter, watersports area, and also keeping up of kid activities. On the second department which is Food&Beverage department, basically in the restaurant a lot of many things to do such as setting the table, polishing, serve the guest, prepare the beverages, etc. Here is the picture when I had great experience in Langkawi.
This is all the boys from the recreation department. At that time, we were gathering for Brazilian BBQ, because our boss is Brazilian. It was so much fun. The style of Brazilian BBQ is really different than usual.
This is one of places where the guests enjoy and relax the beautiful scenery in Langkawi.
Keeping the towels counter was an activity that I did almost every day while working in the recreation. But that's nice because I always meet the guest and chit-chat with them.
This is one of wathis is one of the watersports that we provide. The resort provide several watersports such as canoe-ing, paddle board, gondola boat river, etc.
This is only half of L'Orangerie team. In this restaurant, I got a lot of knowledge from my seniors. They are very helpful and kind. It was grateful to know and met them.
I had an opportunity to working in St. Regis Bar as a hostess. My task there was serve the guest, taking order, and also in charge of cashiering.
I had an opportunity to helped the wedding day which was held the beach Coco. I assisted my senior to do setting up the table and make sure everything is put precisely in nice way.
